I ask this onto it lady A quick question once - do you want to be immortal ? Just wondering ? AL

2/. What a wonderful quick question! Here's a loooonnnnggggg answer... J My beliefs are as follows...: my soul, my essence, is already immortal. However my body, being the current temple in which this soul resides, along with the rational, socio-programmed mind, works within the gaps in the mesh of our current perception, respecting and agreeing to the environment in which it has invested, (one of diacotomy of dualities such as a "beginning" and an "end"), but not necessarily truly "believing" in it. Immortality is something many people truly believe they want, although for various different reasons.

But whether it's actually a good thing for our perceived existance on this current plane is one well worthy of debate. On saying that though, I actually do believe that our bodies can become immortal. I've touched upon techniques of strengthening DNA cellular memory, holding back or reducing cellular atrophy, and even stopping the perception of "time" for short periods (Deepak Chopra's examples and practises are really fascinating). My own physical body reflects some of those practises also. We all want to stay physically able, sense-aware and have core inner and outter health, but our "programming" tells us that it's expected that we'll experience aging, atrophy and illness, and death as the natural course of life.

Wise ancients and contemporaries have shared knowledge that the aging process can be reduced to certain degrees, damage minimised and even reversed, and ultimately physical immortality achieved. Deepak Chopra, Gregg Braden and many others for instance are aware of keys to our physical structure. And I think we, as the humanity, are well on our way to finding the locks to which these keys belong. However, from a different perspective I think we are here within this illusion for very specific reasons and learnings - much of which may not be accomplished if we actually became truly and physically immortal. Perhaps if we were "groomed", educated or guided through it it would be a very viable success.

But I wonder if humanity is ready to transcend and understand the perception of this agreement and resulting environment, see thru the illusion, then perhaps touch upon the true nature of our essence - endless and infinite. Our decisions and actions would change - our sense of responsibility and the looming nature of finite existance causes us to act according to the notion of this knowledge. What would it mean if you could not strive for a "life-time" achievement? Would we become "lazy?"... Unfocussed? Arrogant, perhaps? Knowing that the choice of existance is in our hands? What would be the meaning of: "dream as if we live forever, but live as if we may die tomorrow..."? But as you are already aware, day to day we have complicated our lives beyond recognition. My understanding of the achievement within this current agreement is to understand why we have agreed to this state, to move towards letting go of all we think we know, to trust in the soul essence and then experience beyond the illusion that we have agreed to all believe in. Happiness, love, understanding, compassion and empathy from it's truest reality.

Much easier said than done however. Can humanity bring them selves to remove the distractions of "Life" in order to find what it means to "Live"? There is much smoke to clear away, and a lot of faith required in trusting the process of the soul and the love the universe has for us in our state of learning. So, perhaps the illusion is exactly as it should be - set up perfectly to cause us to look inside for the answers, where we can find the true nature of infinity and immortality, working with the limit of "time" to reinforce the nature of it, and create an imperfect ideal from which we may transcend via our experiences and interpretations. I'll be honest - I've certainly been caught up in "Life" for most of it. But on reflection, at least the awareness of all I've just spoken of brings me to my senses in the midst of this crazy human adventure! ...and makes me smile at the sheer simplicity of it, beyond what we think it may be! Ooppps!!! Well - Enough already!!! - sorry 'bout that!

Whew it was heavy but nice
